We can offer a range of different orthodontic solutions to meet your specific dental needs and your aesthetic preference. Braces comprise of metal brackets attached to the outsides of the teeth, and flexible metal wires that hold these brackets together. These require visits that are spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart, during which the wires are changed in order to “tighten” the braces. Braces are available in the traditional metal form or can be provided in a tooth-coloured material that is more discrete and aesthetic.
Six Month Smiles reduces orthodontic treatment time to around six month by concentrating on straightening teeth that are only visible when you smile. This allows transformation of your smile by adjusting misaligned, crooked or spaced teeth in your smileline. This is in contrast to traditional braces that straighten all teeth in an arch or the whole mouth and typically take 18 to 24 months.
Clear aligners are clear plastic trays that fit snugly around the teeth to gently move them until they are straight. These are virtually invisible and are worn all the time, apart from eating, brushing and flossing. They may require discreet, tooth-coloured attachments to hold them in place.
